Love GRO, a great place to meet with friends/family. The food is always delicious and always generously proportioned. I love the decor, which feels cosy with stringed warm white lights everywhere. The only thing to be aware of is the long wait for food. We waited 35min's. The food is worth the wait though. I wish more cafés would follow Gro's lead of allowing dogs inside their cafe's, they are members of our family after all. A must to visit, and if I lived nearby, I'd definitely be a regular. Highly recommend.

Lovely place, dog friendly, had the best nachos ever, very tasty Shared a platter between 2 of us, plenty to eat, fair price.

Came for brunch/lunch today. Food really good, service on the slow side but given how INSANELY busy it was, (our table was at 1200 midday on a Saturday, so not a big surprise ) Nice atmosphere, we brought our wee dog, seems like everyone else brought theirs too. Was very lovely! The only feedback point I have is on the furniture and fittings side, we had two very low seats at a small driftwood type table, would have been ok for just a coffee but seriously uncomfortable trying to eat a meal at it. Will deffo come back, but will ask for an adult sized table and chairs next time… soooo many more things on the menu that we want to try

Always a delight to visit for food! Staff are lovely and always willing to help where they can. It can be very busy so there can be delays getting seated but when this happens they’ll give you a rough time and reserve a table! Food is also made fresh so get a coffee and be patient! Dog friendly!!! p.s Phots is of xmas special turkey sub (a delight with every bight), tiramisu french brioche special and chicken sriracha waffles

One of our favorite places in Irvine! So many options for breakfast, lunch or a wee sweet treat! We came last on a Saturday and there was a two hour wait for inside seating or 30 mins for outside. So plan ahead as it gets busy so come early for a wander on the coastal path before. We gladly sat outside under their heat lamps and blankets. Popular spot for dogs and babies.

Recently went to Gro on Sunday for brunch and had a fantastic time as always! The wait time was 1 hour which was suspected as it is always so busy, although waited roughly about 1 hours 10 mins and received call when table was ready. Place is really packed with people sitting and waiting for takeaway. For food we had got Mediterranean eggs and the American, food seemed as if it had been sitting out for a while and some things were cold although was still nice. Also dog friendly and have a selection of sides that can be given to dogs. They do a lovely vanilla oat latte as well! I think at the weekend it can be rather overwhelming as it is so packed but well worth the wait. On the way out I grabbed an empire biscuit and a biscoff cinnamon bun which were just absolutely amazing. Good selection of cakes and they always seem to go quite quickly! Lovely day out by the beach and food in gro. Would recommend!

What an amazing cafe! This place has it all for all ages. This was my first visit, but not friends with me. They are regulars. We were very lucky to get a table, all being out side. However, the heaters were on and cushions and blankets available, so we were very cosy! We were only have a scone and coffee, may not like to sit in that environment for a meal, but would in the warmer months. They except dogs and a play area for the children. Only negative thing is that there selection of cakes was very varied, hard to choice wich one I wanted. We ended up sharing a selection, score! Pop in if you can, but try and book a table and you will not be disappointed.

Had an amazing experience at Gro Coffee in Irvine! The burgers were absolutely delicious, and the cakes were to die for definitely some of the best I’ve had. The service was impeccable, with friendly and lovely staff who made us feel so welcome. The atmosphere was fantastic, warm, and homely perfect for a relaxed meal or a coffee catch up. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!
